What is Our Red String?
Our Red String is a visual novel developed by Eva Kiss that plunges players into a deeply erotic story centered on the lives of Ian and Lena. This adult game lets you step directly into the narrative, making choices that shape relationships, sexual encounters, and the overall direction of the plot. Built around branching paths and multiple endings, Our Red String satisfies fans of perverse desires with its focus on seduction, emotional complexity, and explicit content. The game blends romance, drama, and raw sexuality into an interactive experience that rewards replayability through different decision trees.
Story and Characters
At the heart of Our Red String are two protagonists, Ian and Lena, both recovering from traumatic romantic pasts. Their paths cross in a chance encounter that slowly evolves into intense emotional and physical connections. The narrative explores themes of desire, redemption, and moral ambiguity as the pair navigates new relationships while confronting their personal demons.
Supporting characters add significant depth and tension. These beautifully designed individuals influence Ian and Lena’s decisions, pushing them toward both reasonable and indecent actions. The story features multiple female characters who become central to different routes, allowing players to explore lesbian encounters, threesomes, and complex polyamorous dynamics. Every choice impacts character development, creating a web of consequences that feels personal and immersive.
Key Character Routes
- Ian’s perspective: Focuses on rebuilding confidence through dominant and submissive encounters.
- Lena’s perspective: Emphasizes emotional vulnerability paired with bold sexual exploration.
- Supporting cast routes: Unlock additional scenes involving secondary women who challenge the main couple’s dynamic.
Gameplay and Mechanics
Our Red String uses a classic visual novel structure enhanced by meaningful player agency. Dialogue choices, relationship meters, and branching storylines determine which characters you end up with and how explicit the content becomes. The current version, 12.2b – Chapter 12 Full, delivers a complete experience through Chapter 12 with all major routes fully realized.
Gameplay emphasizes replay value. Different decisions open or lock specific sex scenes, alter character attitudes, and lead to alternate endings. The red string motif serves as both a narrative symbol and a mechanical hint toward fate versus choice. Players can save at any point, experiment with corruption or redemption paths, and unlock a comprehensive gallery that catalogs every unlocked CG and scene.
Visuals, Soundtrack, and Production Quality
Eva Kiss delivers stunning hand-drawn artwork in Our Red String. Character sprites are highly detailed with expressive facial animations that convey lust, hesitation, and ecstasy. Backgrounds range from intimate apartments to luxurious settings, all rendered with vibrant colors and careful lighting that heightens the erotic atmosphere.

The soundtrack complements the visuals perfectly, mixing sensual electronic tracks with softer acoustic pieces during emotional moments. Voice acting is absent, allowing the rich sound design and ambient effects to carry the immersive experience without distraction.
